This 4-day course will teach you all the basic theory, water physics, practical skills and actual practice you need to become a certified diver. Our PADI certifications will allow you to dive up to 18 meters–anywhere in the world.

Open Water Course in Utila Theory Component:
The theory includes classroom sessions with our permanent and professional certified PADI Instructors. The program includes a PADI e book which features 5 chapters, 5 videos, and 5 homework and 5 exams. The instructor will elaborate on topics ranging from marine life to dive equipment to physiology and more.

Open Water Course in Utila Practical Component:
The practical component includes two days of confined water training, where in the shallow waters by the beach, you learn to use your SCUBA Equipment and learn to master your buoyancy. On the third day, you have two open water training dives by the coral reef to 12 meters, 40 feet. On the last day, you go to 18meters, 60 feet, on your two training dives, by the fabulous North side of Utila, where the marine reserve and natural park are located.
